Beginner #5

I've tried using a computer for this kolam:

This kolam is actually a square grid, 5x5. The outer semi-circles actually reach up to the next row, although they are not are connected to any dots. This kolam has a 4-way symmetry.

Beginner #4

last post for today :)

This kolam is another square grid, 4x4. (Keep in mind, most beginner kolams are square grids). This kolam involves a braid pattern and two ovals in the middle. To do a braid pattern, just go over and under around the borders.  Then, go the opposite (under and over).

Beginner #3

another one for the beginners. This kolam is a square grid, 4x4. It involves criss-cross straight lines and is easy for people who dislike too many curves. If you see closely, it only consists of two large rectangles, and two ovals. easy enough, right? This kolam has a 4-way symmetry.

Beginner #2

simple kolam for the starters :)

This kolam is also a square grid, 4x4. It has a 4-way symmetry.
